Coming either from Munich of Salzburg, you leave the A8 at junction "Holzkirchen" (AS 97). Then follow the B318 until you reach Gmund. At the traffic lightdrive straight ahead onto the B307, direction "Rottach-Egern". Arriving in "Rottach-Egern", turn right at the first traffic light following Seestrasse until it joins the Aribostrasse. Turn right immediately into Überfahrtstrasse where you will arrive at the Seehotel Überfahrt. Coming from Innsbruck, leave the A12 at junction "Jenbach". Then follow the B181/B307 until you have reached Rottach-Egern. Pass the first traffic light to turn left into Fürstenstasse after 100 m. Follow Fürstenstrasse until it joins Überfahrtstrasse. After about 150 m you will reach the Seehotel Überfahrt.

Several times a day, there are long distance trains from all over Europe arriving at Munich Central Station from where you will have to change transportation to reach lake Tegernsee. This will be either by train (Bayerische Oberlandbahn / BOB) or by bus. At the Tegernsee station you will need to take a taxi to Seehotel Überfahrt.

The distance from Munich Airport to Seehotel Überfahrt is about 90 km/55 mls. There is a direct shuttle service to Munich´s Central Station either with the trains S1/S8 or with a shuttle bus operated by Lufthansa. Arriving at the central station, please follow the instructions on how to reach us by train.
