Deutsches Museum

The collections of the Deutsches Museum include over 100 000 objects from the fields of science and technology. With its large number of valuable original exhibits, the museum is one of the most important German scientific and technical museums in the world. The collections are not limited to a specific subject area - they include objects from mining to atomic physics, from the Altamira cave to a magnified replica of a human cell. They extend in time from the Stone Age to the present. Even today the collection is historically significant objects is a core task of the museum, so that the stock is constantly growing.

Opening times

The German Museum is open daily, with few exceptions, from 9.00 to 17.00 clock, ticket sales up only 16.00 clock.
(The Children's World Clock closes at 16.30, last admission: 16.00 clock.)
